After the mass we celebrated at the Essendon Ballroom with 10 other kids and their families, 370 people in total. I think half of them were kids it was so noisy I needed some earplugs. She had a great time and it turned out to be a really good night.
Here is my little princess.
Below with her best friend Olivia.
Some of the other girls celebrating on the night.
Have a great week.

Beautiful! God Bless!
You celebrate First Holy Communion much like we do here. All the little girls dressed in white (but they wear white veils too), and a party or dinner after wards to mark the occasion.
Lovely post!
Wishing you all the best,
Eileen
She just looks so BEAUTIFUL! Looks like it went really well. Yes you are right about how it easy it is with boys, my nephews had theirs and it wasnt too involved at all. Mind you I did just attend and not do all the preparations lol. Love Julias quilt too, looks like she has inherited some talent from her mum!

Wow, what a night! Julia looked beautiful. Master 8 was confirmed yesterday and will do first communion next year. It must be a lot more casual up here in the country - the boys all wore jeans and nice shirts and the girls wore pretty skirts/outfits. I remember wearing a white dress when I was confirmed. How things change over time!
Carol....
Julia looks just beautiful..and I am sure that you did stress to make sure that everything was perfect for her big day. I have 3 boys so I am afraid all that I have done is hire suits and provide hair products!! LOL.
Have a happy and productive week
